Public Comment lets us raise our voice as a community and let City Council know that they can no longer ignore the animal welfare crisis. It is the most effective way to show support for the reform of ACS.
From a mismanaged ACS system to the tens of thousands of strays left abandoned in low income neighborhoods, there are critical areas of improvement for ACS.

Step 1. If you plan on attending to speak or to watch, send an email here so we can organize as a group!
Step 2. You have between 2 - 3 minutes to address City Council. Craft a speech to let them know your experience with the stray animal crisis/ACS.
Step 3. Register up to 15 minutes before: 👉Register to Speak.
We’ve noticed that speakers that register closer to the meeting start time are called to speak first, so we recommend waiting to register to make sure your voice is heard.
Step 4. Scroll to find the meeting you want to participate in. You may have to click “Show more” until you see the correct meeting. Look for the next event that says “Public Comment Session”.
Step 5. Click on “Request to Speak” and fill out the form.
Step 6. Next, show up and speak out. Don’t underestimate the impact you can make!
**The Public Session starts at 5:00 pm. Location: Municipal Plaza Building, 114 W. Commerce Street, San Antonio
**Parking: Park at the City Tower Garage (located at 100 Blk N. Main). If you're speaking, the parking fee will be waived.
