San Antonio boasts that it is the fastest growing City in the United States. However, it is tight-lipped about another title we hold: We are a city where animal abuse, neglect and homelessness runs rampant.

There are only two sides on which we can sit:
We are either proud of owning this title or, we seek to find solutions and progress past our animal welfare issues that plague us.

Our city leaders cannot continue to show apathy and remain complicit in our ever-increasing animal crisis.
